Python / Order validation

A tiny example of a useful repeatable process.

The example validates order IDs, ISO dates, amounts, and status values. Input is preserved. Accepted and flagged entries are separated for review.

Included in the download

Original CSV, documented Python 3 source, three generated outputs, and a short README. The script uses only the Python standard library.

Why flags matter

Errors stay visible. The workflow does not silently guess invalid values or overwrite the input. Someone can inspect each exception and decide what to correct.
